Stop axle wrap for good

Wehrli builds its traction bars in-house and warrants them for life, to the original buyer, if a bar bends or breaks. Added power can twist a leaf-spring axle, which leads to broken U-joints and driveshafts and even twisted axle housings; the bars stop that wrap-up.

The axle brackets bolt under the axle tube with the axle U-bolts, and the front mounts weld to the frame. A rebuildable, greaseable RockJock Johnny Joint at the frame allows adjustment if you raise or lower the rear, and a polyurethane bushing at the axle keeps noise and vibration down. The bars are powder coated over an epoxy primer, which Wehrli says gives far better corrosion protection than a single coat.

Owners of 2011-2024 Ford F-250 / F-350 with the 6.7L Power Stroke (regular cab long bed, Super Cab long and short bed, crew cab long bed) who are adding power or towing heavy.

Fitment notes

• For 2017-2024 F-250 / F-350 with 4 in. axle tubes (Sterling 10.5 in. and Dana M275); also for 2011-2016 crew cab short bed trucks.
• 2017-2024 crew cab short bed trucks use WCF100388. 2017-up F-350 / F-450 dually trucks with the Dana M300 axle (4.5 in. tubes) use WCF100501.
• Will not clear FX4 fuel tank skid plates on 2011-2016 Super Cab short bed trucks.
• If your lift kit flips the U-bolts to face up, call us before ordering. On tall lifts, measure from the axle mount to the frame mount to confirm bar length.
