LML CP3 Conversion Kit with Heavy Duty CP3 for 2011-2016 Duramax Fleece Performance

Fuel to match the power

Since it arrived, the LML's CP4 pump has proven less reliable and less capable than the CP3 earlier Duramax engines used, and a CP4 failure usually means replacing the whole fuel system. Fleece's kit swaps the CP4 for a CP3 with no tuning required.

It's built for an OEM fit and finish, with Fleece's molded feed and return hoses, high-flow CP3 fittings and a valley feed line that's ready for an aftermarket lift pump.

This Heavy Duty kit uses a brand-new Bosch CP3 with a 10 mm displacement cam. It keeps the factory fuel limit at 3,000 RPM; to remove that limit, Fleece points to its PowerFlo 750 CP3 with the No Pump kit (FPE-LML-CP3-NP).

Fitment notes

• Fits 2011-2016 Chevrolet Silverado / GMC Sierra 2500/3500 with the LML Duramax (per Fleece).
• Tested on stock trucks without a lift pump. With a lift pump, keep feed pressure to the CP3 at 2 psi or less, or the engine may surge. Fleece offers a lower-rate spring for its PowerFlo lift pumps, and higher pressures need FCA table changes.
