2001-2002 GM/Allison TapShifter Fleece Performance

Tap-shift the Allison

Fleece's TapShifter adds push-button gear selection to the Allison automatic in the 2001-2002 GM 2500/3500 pickups, like the factory setup on 2006-and-newer GM trucks. It's handy for towing and everyday driving, plugs straight in, and looks and works like a factory part.

Pick a range with the shift lever, then press - to downshift and + to upshift. It won't tap past the range you selected, so it limits upshifts, lets you lock out overdrive, gives you commanded downshifts and cuts down on gear hunting.
