2020-2026 L5P Duramax 4" Intake Kit with Air Box Stage 2

Cooler air, more of it

Wehrli's Stage 2 intake replaces the restrictive plastic factory intake tube, inlet horn and air box on the 2020-2026 L5P with fabricated aluminum parts and a dry filter.

It draws cooler air in through the ram-air duct in the hood and the inner fender, and the large 4 in. tube with smooth bends raises intake air speed and volume. Wehrli says the result is more horsepower and torque, quicker throttle response, cooler intake temperatures and a stronger turbo sound.

The inlet horn is more than an inch larger than the factory horn and removes the restriction just ahead of the turbo.

It replaces GM part numbers 84841229, 84841225, 84262962, 85614333 and 84554702.

Fitment notes

• Fits 2020-2026 Chevrolet Silverado / GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD with the 6.6L L5P Duramax.
• Turn off the air filter life monitor in the truck settings; otherwise a service air filter message comes on that a GM service shop has to reset. With the setting right, the filter life shows as disabled.
• California: Wehrli does not ship this part to California.
