NITROCHARGER PLUS STRUT SHOCK ABSORBER
During the development of the Nitrocharger Plus shock absorbers, Old Man Emu's Ride Control Engineers tailor the valving of the shock absorbers to work with the different springs in the range. This often results in multiple options for each vehicle.

The Old Man Emu Nitrocharger Plus features a twin tube design, with an outer reserve tube that protects the internal components during off-road use. Using the latest advances in shock absorber technology, the Nitrocharger Plus is the most finely tuned 4x4 shock absorber on the market.
FEATURES:

Adjustable spring seat: utilising two spring seat spacer rings, preloading of the spring can be set to accommodate accessories, all while using only one Old Man Emu coil spring.

Double-bonded lower bush: an interference-fit, double-bonded rubber bush provides a high-performance, long-life lower mount.

Large bore 36mm twin tube design: Allows greater oil volume for cooling and sustained valving performance, and the strong 2mm outer tube construction protects the vital internal components from damage.

Large 20 mm hardened chrome piston rod: strong enough to handle any load or harsh conditions expected from your 4x4.

Triple lip check valve oil seal (MK2): The latest technology in oil seal design, it is physically larger and offers quantum improvements in durability, oil and gas retention, and resistance to heat, ensuring it keeps working under the harshest conditions.

Teflon-impregnated low friction rod guide: The latest refinement in rod guide design, this further reduces heat build-up and maintains performance.

Teflon-infused bronze rod guide slip ring: a new component that maintains consistent and uniform performance by providing a tight and uniform fit between the piston rod and rod guide.

The multi-deflective disc valving system is a unique valving system featuring multiple disc valving control at the base of the shock and on both sides of the piston rod. This gives OME engineers more valving options for better ride quality and handling control.

36 mm high flow Teflon-banded piston: The new low-friction design allows for less restrictive oil flow through the piston, reducing heat build-up and aeration of the oil that leads to fade.

VEHICLE-SPECIFIC VALVING: OME shock absorbers outperform their competitors because each and every shock absorber has been meticulously engineered to deliver the best possible ride and handling for your vehicle.

Nitrogen gas increases the operating temperature range and improves oil flow through the valving to ensure optimum performance.

All mounts have supplementary welds for strength and reliability.
