A tougher replacement turbo

BD offers this heavy-duty turbo as a more affordable choice than the OE replacement for the CAT 3406E, C15 (non-ACERT) and C16. Its full 360-degree thrust bearing and grooved journal bearings add durability, and a 78 mm billet compressor wheel sized for these engines' air demand.

A 96 mm turbine wheel in a 1.32 A/R non-wastegated T6 housing spools quicker, so the engine reaches its power band sooner with less black smoke, and there are fewer moving parts to stick or wear.
