D&J Precision Machine's Street Performance long block is the strong-bottom-end option for the 5.9L Cummins. BD rates it for up to 1,000 hp in street and track use.

The parts that usually limit a built Cummins are addressed up front: billet X-Beam rods, a fire-ringed Stage 1 head and 9/16 ARP head studs to keep the head sealed under high boost. The engine is blueprinted and balanced before assembly.
