A tougher 6.0L head

Fleece's Freedom Series HD head for the 2003-2007 6.0L Power Stroke is built on its own new casting, a higher-tensile alloy with thicker walls and extra material where it counts, so it lasts longer than a stock-style replacement.

It arrives fully assembled, with hardened, oversized tungsten-alloy valve seats made in the USA and a new valvetrain: stainless steel and Inconel valves, springs, retainers, keepers, guides and seals. Fleece also fits a one-piece hoop O-ring in the head, which seals combustion without the seam that a stainless wire ring has.

What's included

Fitment notes

• Fits 2003-2007 Ford Super Duty with the 6.0L Power Stroke (per Fleece).
• Heads are sold individually and can be set up for the driver or passenger side.
• Fleece recommends 6.4L pushrods (Ford 8C3Z-6565-B), which are 0.050 in. shorter than 6.0L pushrods, to absorb the tolerance stack-up of a replacement head.
• Head gasket not included; Fleece recommends Ford KZ3Z-6051-B.
• Use Fleece's identification chart (engine serial number on the rear driver side of the block, or the original FICM sticker) to choose the right head and parts.
