The 6.7L's variable-vane turbo can help slow the truck as well as make power. BD's brake closes the turbine vanes electronically for up to 130 retarding horsepower, helping hold speed on descents and through curves.
It works with cruise control to speed up and slow down to hold a set speed. Installation is plug-in at the factory connectors plus a dash-mounted switch.
Owners of 2011-2014 6.7L Power Stroke trucks who tow or drive long grades.
