The right filter for your Wehrli kit

This is the correct replacement dry filter for Wehrli 5 in. intakes and its twin turbo and S400 single turbo kits. Wehrli says it flows about as well as a cotton filter, filters well to keep debris out of the engine, and can last up to 30,000 highway miles.

Care: check it about every 5,000 miles by taking off the filter cover and looking at the pleats. The media is dry and cannot be washed. Blow it off from the outside with compressed air, keeping the nozzle moving and at least 6 in. away; for a deeper clean, take it away from the truck and blow from the inside out without focusing on one spot. Keeping the pre-filter cover clean helps too.

Replace it every 15,000-30,000 miles depending on use, or when the pleats begin to collapse.
