Description
Cooler air, more of it
Wehrli's intake replaces the restrictive plastic factory intake tube and air box on the 2020-2026 L5P with fabricated aluminum parts and a dry filter.
It draws cooler air in through the ram-air duct in the hood and the inner fender, and the large 4 in. tube with smooth bends raises intake air speed and volume. Wehrli says the result is more horsepower and torque, quicker throttle response, cooler intake temperatures and a stronger turbo sound.
It replaces GM part numbers 84841229, 84841225, 84262962, 85614333 and 84554702.

Fitment notes
- Fits 2020-2026 Chevrolet Silverado / GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD with the 6.6L L5P Duramax.
- Turn off the air filter life monitor in the truck settings; otherwise a service air filter message comes on that a GM service shop has to reset. With the setting right, the filter life shows as disabled.
- California: Wehrli does not ship this part to California.
