Tap shifting for the early Allison
BD's TapShifter adds fingertip shifting to the 2001-2002 Duramax Allison 1000, like the newer trucks have, for passing, pulling and climbing hills.
Inside the box: a control module, a shift lever that comes pre-bent to fit well, and wiring that plugs into the factory connectors so nothing gets spliced. An amber light is part of this version too; it shows when overdrive is turned off.
