Clear out a fuel restriction
Making more power with a Cummins takes more fuel, so many owners add an upgraded lift pump with extra filtering and water separation. That can leave the factory fuel filter housing as a needless restriction.
BD's block replaces the factory filter housing and adds a fuel pressure sensor port; it also works as a distribution block for dual CP3 setups. It is meant to be used with an auxiliary lift pump and filter/water separator: running without one can damage the injection system. If the CP3 feed line is not already 1/2 in hose, an upgraded feed line is needed.
