A stronger converter for the 47/48RE

BD's ProForce uses its own cast-aluminum performance stator for better efficiency, durability and response, from stock trucks up to higher horsepower.

The front cover is stamp-forged steel and the fins are furnace brazed. BD adds a billet steel piston with a hardened seal bore and a better friction lining, and swaps the plastic thrust washers for steel Torrington needle bearings. BD has tested it to 1,000 lb-ft of crank torque.
