BD's Stealth cover fits the VP44 pump on the 1998.5-2002 24-valve and gives a secure, sealed connection for an add-on module, so you don't have to notch the pump wire.
A notched wire is easy to spot, and a break in its cover can let in corrosion and cause a poor connection. The Stealth cover makes the install neat and more reliable.
