The factory 6.0L Powerstroke oil cooler is a liquid-to-liquid unit: engine coolant pulls heat out of the oil and carries it to the radiator. After years of service, coolant passages in these coolers often clog or start leaking. When that happens the oil runs hotter and thinner, and the engine loses protection. Mishimoto's MMOC-F2D-03 is a stock-style replacement that bolts in where the original came out.

Fitment

Install notes

Mishimoto strongly recommends professional installation; follow the factory service manual for removal and install. Many oil cooler failures start with clogged coolant passages, so Mishimoto recommends flushing the cooling system when you replace the cooler and adding a coolant filter kit such as the Mishimoto 6.0L Coolant Filter Kit (MMCFK-F2D-03) to help keep the new cooler clean.
