Make the exhaust brake work harder

With an automatic, exhaust braking through a slipping converter builds heat, and most converters pass just 10 to 80 percent of the retarding force through the fluid coupling.

BD's AutoLoc keeps the converter clutch engaged automatically whenever the BD exhaust brake is switched on. Up to 100 percent of the braking force then reaches the wheels in 3rd and 4th, and with little or no slip the fluid stays cool.
