Valve Body Exchange 1991-1993 Dodge 518 5.9L Cummins BD Diesel

A better-shifting 518

BD modifies, tunes and tests its exchange valve bodies for towing and performance use. This 518 unit gets more line pressure, a revised manual valve and BD's own separator plate.

BD says the result is better shift quality, more clutch holding capacity and longer transmission life. It also allows lock-up in first and second gear, which helps slow a heavy load on a steep grade (requires BD's AutoLoc or TorqLoc).
