The Screamer drops into the stock setup and looks factory, but a larger billet compressor wheel moves more air for more boost and top-end power while bringing drive pressure and exhaust temperatures down.
If your stock turbo has a turbo-mounted exhaust brake, it can be moved to the Screamer. If you're also buying a brake, buy the one for your truck's year. BD says it can be fitted to 1998.5 24-valve trucks with changes to stock parts; see BD's install manual.
Owners of 1999-2002 24-valve 5.9L Cummins Rams who tow, race or drive daily and want lower EGTs and more power.
