Build-It kits are for experienced transmission builders who want the parts BD puts in its own performance transmissions. Each kit covers the standard rebuild parts and gaskets; Stage 2 is the street and towing level.
The included 68RFE ProForce converter is rated for stock and modified 6.7L trucks making about 350-550 flywheel hp. It uses BD's Enhanced Stall cast-aluminum stator for low-rpm response, a billet forged front cover with thicker walls and stronger mounting pads, an 11.625 in dual clutch, furnace-brazed turbine fins and new piston damper springs.
