Braking for the 6.0L

BD has been building exhaust brakes for almost 30 years. Its Variable Orifice Technology combines a solid offset butterfly, a spring-loaded cylinder and pressure regulation to give up to 150 retarding horsepower across the rpm range, not only at high rpm.

The housing is cast iron, with BD's alumibronze bushing, piston-ring seals and a stainless steel butterfly and shaft to stand up to exhaust heat and corrosion.

This remote-mount kit is for 4 in exhaust on automatic-transmission trucks and includes an air compressor and a transmission pressure module.

Owners of 2003-2007 F-250/F-350 Super Duty 6.0L trucks with the automatic who tow or drive mountain grades and want more braking.
