Description
Protect the oil cooler
New 6.0L engines leave a white, talc-like casting powder in the water jackets that speeds up coolant breakdown. The resulting slurry plugs the oil-to-coolant heat exchanger and can drive temperatures high enough to damage the engine.
BD's filter mounts in line with the coolant hoses to stop it. The kit has the filter head, spin-on filter, bracket, hoses, clamps, fittings, hardware and a bypass valve that makes filter changes easy.
