Fix common Allison complaints
BD's kit includes its own Smart Trim/Clutch Control valve assemblies plus parts to modify the C2 clutch piston for more capacity and durability, with short, crisp, smooth upshifts and kickdowns. BD rates it for 500 street horsepower.
It targets these problems: neutral under load, slipping on the 3-4 shift, burnt C2 and C3 clutches, sticking in one gear, not moving after sitting parked and loss of pump prime. BD recommends an experienced technician.
