ATS billet intermediate shaft

The stock intermediate shaft is a known weak point once you add power, tow heavy or run bigger tires. When it snaps or twists, the truck stops moving, and it can take the converter, pump and seals with it.

ATS builds this intermediate shaft from billet steel. The idea is not just more strength. A billet shaft can twist a little further under load without breaking, so it absorbs the hits that crack a factory shaft.

A broken intermediate shaft means a costly repair. This shaft is cheap insurance on a built 47/48 transmission.
